The Future Battery Industries CRC (FBICRC) combines industry, government and researcher resources to build the tools, technologies and skills required to grow the role of battery storage in Australia’s electrical grids, and make Australia a larger part of global supply chains.

In keeping with FBICRC’s goal of sustainability, it engaged the CIDS to create a digital platform that can identify a mineral supply’s origin to allow supply chain traceability.

The creation of this platform allows the FBICRC to further its sustainability goals and provide potential investors and government contributors with assurances of a supply’s sustainability.
