Rike McLernon
Rike is a multilingual administration professional and holds an advanced diploma in event management and completed her bachelor’s degree in tourism management in 2020 at IST – University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
She has worked in diverse international environments, first as an event manager and later in a variety of administrative positions. These include the role of team coordinator at the Centre for Adaptive Rationality at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany and her most recent employment as an administration officer for the Murchison Widefield Array at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia.
Rike joined the CIDS as an administration officer in November 2020, working primarily with the CIDS Director. Within her role, she coordinates all administrative processes for the CIDS, planning and organising internal and external CIDS events, and operates as the first point of contact for external inquiries. She is also responsible for the CIDS’s marketing and PR, including the development and maintenance of the new website for the institute.
