Kamila Durakova
Kamila gained her Bachelor of Commerce (Business Information Systems (Professional)) from Curtin University in 2023. She further holds industry-recognised certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Introduction to Internet of Things (IOT) from EDX (Curtin University).
Before joining the CIDS, Kamila worked for multinational corporations such as, SAP, SLB (formally Schlumberger), and as an intern at Thomson Reuters for the Global CIO’s team in London. She has previously worked at Curtin University as a Technical Support Officer for the DTS team. In her last assignment Kamila worked for SAP Signavio as a Technical Support Engineer where she helped clients in realizing the value of using SAP Signavio Transformation Suite to accelerate their business transformation journeys. Kamila has extensive financial and process improvement experience gained while working at SLB through managing project financials for an enterprise-wide cloud deployment program. Kamila thrives at the intersection of technology and business through translating complex concepts into actionable solutions.
Kamila joined the CIDS team in July 2024 as a Project Officer, working primarily with the CIDS Project Lead. In her current role Kamila assists with the development of relevant business cases and project initiation documentation (PID), including timelines, implementation and evaluation methods and communication strategies for all CIDS current projects.
