Product Manager (Project Manager) | ARDC

Jamie Archer

Jamie has spent 10 years in product roles spanning software and data, following his graduation with a First-Class Bachelor’s degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. He holds several professional qualifications in cloud technology, product ownership, and product management. Jamie began his career at maritime data consultancy Arkevista, delivering GIS data products and market intelligence for clients in the maritime and marine sectors.

After a period of travelling, he joined Cavendish Financial plc in London, where he took ownership of the bank’s CRM product. In this role, he led the implementation of multiple software systems and managed incremental improvements for users. He was also instrumental in shaping the bank’s email marketing strategy. More recently, Jamie served as Product Owner at Lloyds Banking Group, the UK’s largest bank, where he led multiple Agile feature teams to deliver back-end enhancements, enabling personalised experiences for customers.

Jamie joined the ARDC node at CIDS in 2025 as Product Manager (Project Manager). Jamie’s focus as ARDC Product Manager will be on enabling the development of products within the ARDC’s Community Data Lab, focusing on tools and datasets for researchers in the Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Indigenous studies.
