Institute Administrator

Wioletta Karas

Wioletta holds an Engineer’s and Master’s degree in Science (Quality Management) from the Cracow University of Economics and completed postgraduate studies in Psychology of Advertising at the University of Warsaw. She also holds certification as a Quality Management System Representative and Assistant from the Centre for Testing and Certification.

Prior to joining the Institute, she gained broad international experience across research, corporate, and creative sectors. She commenced her career as an economist in a government research institute, and later held roles in project management, product management, and quality systems with organisations including Bosch and Carrefour. In Australia, she has worked in marketing and executive support roles, alongside managing her own art practice with exhibitions in Europe and Australia.

She joined the Curtin Institute for Data Science (CIDS) in March 2026 as Institute Administrator. In this role, she supports a wide range of administrative and operational functions, including coordinating research activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing high-level support to the Director and Business Manager to ensure the effective delivery of Institute operations.
