Software and Data Carpentry Workshops in Python, R and Git.

Many students start PhDs at Curtin without even the most basic of computing and data skills. The Curtin Institute for Data Science collaborates with Software Carpentry and Data Carpentry, offering workshop in Python, R and Git twice per year for Curtin University staff and students. The workshops are free of charge and don’t require any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented. They are aimed at postgraduate students and researchers who want to learn more about automation and reproducibility of their research.
